Urooj wins at the double with two Catalyst Kudos Awards
‘Unwavering professionalism’ has contributed to Customer Service Advisor Urooj Chaudhry winning Catalyst Kudos Awards...
They teamed up with the Our Community Wardrobe community group to deliver Christmas presents to four and five-year-old children at Holy Cross Primary School in Oldham, Greater Manchester.
The three colleagues (pictured above, left to right) were Julie, Paris, and Dominic, pictured with (third from left) Catalyst Business Improvement Manager Yvonne Bardsley.
Funds for the gifts came from the Catalyst Community Fund, set up by the company to support multiple good causes nominated by colleagues and partners in the Catalyst supply chain.
Yvonne Bardsley said: “Our colleagues had a lot of fun wrapping the gifts and taking them to the school to give to the pupils.
“We were pleased we could spread some cheer in our local community and contribute to the work of Our Community Wardrobe, which makes a real difference throughout Oldam every day of the year.”
Our Community Wardrobe is run by local woman Sally Maher and provides high quality second-hand clothes for families, including women with children who have to leave home due to domestic abuse.
The organisation also collects donated chocolate eggs to give to disadvantaged children at Easter. Catalyst has contributed to both these initiatives so was pleased to support the Christmas campaign, as well.
Catalyst, which is based in Delph, provides investigation, repair and rehabilitation services for insurance companies, loss adjustors and property management specialists.
Key service sectors include drainage, off-mains drainage, water supply pipes, leak detection, subsidence investigation, home emergency and environmental investigation and mitigation.
