They have delivered the breakfast cereal to Oldham Foodbank, run by the Trussell Trust, as part of Catalyst’s commitment to supporting their local communities.
Kath Kenyon, a local supporter of Oldham Foodbank alerted Catalyst to the charity’s need for donations of breakfast cereals, and the company made the donation via the Catalyst Community Fund.
Yvonne Bardsley, Business Improvement Manager at Catalyst, said: “We’ll always do our best to support help organisations like Oldham Foodbank where we can, so we were pleased to help.
“At this time of year, with the extra cost of Christmas, there is an even greater risk that family budgets can be stretched to breaking point. Added together, small acts of kindness can make a big difference.
“Our teams were proud to know they’re helping more families in need start the day with a nourishing meal. Helping others is a value that underpins our service.”
Catalyst, which is based in Delph, provides investigation, repair and rehabilitation services for insurance companies, loss adjustors and property management specialists.
Key service sectors include drainage, off-mains drainage, water supply pipes, leak detection, subsidence investigation, home emergency and environmental investigation and mitigation.
The Catalyst Community Fund has been set up to provide financial support for individuals and organisations nominated by company colleagues or via the Catalyst supply chain.
