Give Catalyst an ‘eggs-acting’ challenge – and we can help!

Insurance claims is a data drive industry so when a community group asked Catalyst Services UK to donate some Easter Eggs – precisely 82 of them – the company was happy to help.

The appeal came from Our Community Wardrobe, a community initiative Catalyst regularly supports because of the excellent work it does in Oldham, Greater Manchester, where the company is based.

Sally Maher, its founder, involves businesses in an annual Easter Egg drive so children at local schools can be sure to get a visit from the Easter Bunny.

She called on Catalyst’s assistance when she found they were short of eggs for the Hodge Clough Infants School to the tune of 82 eggs (to be eggs-act).

Catalyst for a tasty treat

Catalyst Business Improvement Manager Yvonne Bardsley said: “We were delighted to step in and help, and our colleagues, Grace Illingworth and Paris Middleton-Taylor delivered the eggs to the school.

“We donated eggs last year as well. It’s great to think the children, some of whom are from families having to make do on low incomes, will have the excitement of receiving a nice treat.”

Money for the chocolate eggs was drawn from the Catalyst Community Fund, a company fund for making donations to good causes recommended by colleagues and Catalyst service suppliers.

Since its foundation in 2022, the Our Community Wardrobe project has helped provide clothing for 6,300 families in need, through a network of schools, social workers and voluntary groups.
