Teams at Catalyst Services UK now have the opportunity to choose complimentary healthy snacks with the introduction of an office fruit bowl – well, actually a triple-decker fruit shelf!

Oranges, apples, pears and bananas are among the tasty items of fruit colleagues can now choose from if they are feeling peckish or want to complement their lunches.

Catalyst Business Improvement Manager Yvonne Bardsley said: “Having the complimentary fruit has gone down very well with everyone in the team, certainly judging by its popularity so far.

“We’re always looking for ways to give our colleagues a little something extra, and this makes it easy for everyone in the office to choose a healthy snack when needing a pick-me-up during the day.”

Backing local business

Fresh fruit is packed with vitamins and roughage, while bananas are known for providing an energy boost – just ask Wimbledon tennis players – so Catalyst’s new complimentary fruit service serves up benefits all round.

The initiative is also supporting the local economy as the fruit is sourced from a greengrocer located close to Catalyst’s offices in Delph, Greater Manchester.

Catalyst delivers a comprehensive range of high-quality belowground and home emergency services to resolve claims on behalf of a growing number of insurance providers, brokers, and loss adjusters.

They include: drainage investigations and repairs (mains and off-mains), water supply pipe repairs and replacement, water leak detection, subsidence investigations, and environmental services.

Having fruit available, like oranges, which are high in vitamin C, will also help ward off sniffles and colds in winter, contributing practically to the wellbeing and performance of Catalyst teams.
